英文介紹：This gene encodes the pulmonary-associated surfactant protein C (SPC), an extremely hydrophobic surfactant protein essential for lung function and homeostasis after birth. Pulmonary surfactant is a surface-active lipoprotein complex composed of 90% lipids and 10% proteins which include plasma proteins and apolipoproteins SPA, SPB, SPC and SPD. The surfactant is secreted by the alveolar cells of the lung and maintains the stability of pulmonary tissue by reducing the surface tension of fluids that coat the lung. Multiple mutations in this gene have been identified, which cause pulmonary surfactant metabolism dysfunction type 2, also called pulmonary alveolar proteinosis due to surfactant protein C deficiency, and are associated with interstitial lung disease in older infants, children, and adults. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been identified.

保存條件：Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

一抗孵育(Primary antibody incubation)
參考一抗的說明書，按照適當比例用Western一抗稀釋液稀釋一抗。
用微型臺式真空泵吸盡封閉液，立即加入稀釋好的一抗，室溫或4℃在側擺搖床上緩慢搖動孵育一小時。如果一抗孵育一小時效果不佳，可以在4℃緩慢搖動孵育過夜。回收一抗。加入Western洗滌液，在側擺搖床上緩慢搖動洗滌5-10分鐘。吸盡洗滌液后，再加入洗滌液，洗滌5-10分鐘。共洗滌3次。如果結果背景較高可以適當延長洗滌時間并增加洗滌次數。

二抗孵育(Secondary antibody inucubation)
參考二抗的說明書，按照適當比例用Western二抗稀釋液稀釋辣根過氧化物酶(HRP)標記的二抗。
用微型臺式真空泵吸盡洗滌液，立即加入稀釋好的二抗，室溫或4℃在側擺搖床上緩慢搖動孵育一小時。回收二抗，加入Western洗滌液，在側擺搖床上緩慢搖動洗滌5-10分鐘。吸盡洗滌液后，再加入洗滌液，洗滌5-10分鐘。共洗滌3次。如果結果背景較高可以適當延長洗滌時間并增加洗滌次數。
